With Poco F1's grand success in India's mobile market, demand for its successor F2 is increasing day by day. As per early reports, Poco F2 may come with MIUI 10 based on Android v9.0 that is Android Pie. It will support two nano SIM cards with 4G and 3G network. Talking about its design, it may don a 6.3-inch display, 1080 x2340 pixel screen resolution with 19.5:9 screen ratio. The touch screen display will get Gorilla Glass protection.

Talking about Poco F2’s most crucial aspect is its performance. The phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset with Octa-core processor. This chipset is being used by Xiaomi's competitors like Samsung in S10 series and OnePlus in its 7 series. It will come with a powerful Li-Polymer battery of 4100 mAh which will be non-removable by the user. Poco F2 will have a storage capacity of 128 GB which can extend to 256 GB and will run on 6 GB RAM. The possible variants could be 6GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Possibility exists that Pocophone F2 might have additional 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant too.

The smart phone will support 16MP + 8MP + 5MP triple rear camera with 4616x3464 image resolution. The rear camera supports auto-focus and LED Flash. The front camera of Pocofone F2 will have 20MP resolution and flash. The teaser on Weibo, Chinese micro blogging website, recently suggests that in competition to OnePlus and Vivo, Redmi will have a pop up selfie camera. This is soon becoming a craze for those who are interested in the optics of phone. Poco f2 launch might include some standard  features like 3.5mm audio jack, loudspeaker, on screen fingerprint sensor, and other sensors like light sensor and proximity sensor.
